What Is The Opportunity?

We are hiring for a Senior Intelligence Analyst (SIA) in our Intelligence Services Team—known as Pandion–which is responsible for executing our services offerings. Nisos’ cadre of SIAs are experienced in providing actionable analysis for a range of challenging issues, ranging from geopolitical to due diligence and digital threat mitigation.

SIAs will be expected to deliver finished intelligence products across most of our service offerings. SIAs can independently manage projects and are working to further develop their investigative, technical, and writing skills— so as to produce deliverables that do not usually require substantial edits or revisions. 

Who You Are and What You’ll Do 

  • Understands analytic tradecraft and writing style 
  • Experienced producing both tactical- and strategic-level intelligence products
  • Crafts finished analytic products incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts to senior executives and other decision-makers
  • Lead or support complex digital investigations
  • Employ OSINT techniques to collect and analyze public data 
  • Find and assess the online footprint of assorted entities (individuals, companies, nation-states)
  • Brief clients on analytic findings (often complex) in an understandable manner and present actionable options as appropriate for threat mitigation
  • Evaluate new tools and datasets for integration into proprietary workflows or technology
  • Generate and contribute to marketing materials
  • Represent Nisos in webinars, conferences, or various briefings
  • You have practical knowledge of OSINT collection and analysis methodologies; excited to research new OSINT techniques, tools, and datasets
  • You are an enthusiastic team player with a positive hands-on attitude; flexible and adaptable; a problem solver

What You Bring

  • Recent experience as an all-source intelligence analyst in the intelligence community or in an investigative analytical role in law enforcement or a private sector organization 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 
  • Fluency or proficiency in another language is a plus, but not required 
  • Experience with any of the following is a plus, but not required: Programming/Scripting, Log Parsing/Analysis, AdTech Data Analysis, Command Line Utility Usage, Networking Fundamentals, Operating System Fundamentals, Debugging/Root Cause Analysis, and PCAP and Netflow Analysis

Things You’ll Use

To perform effectively in a remote role, you must meet the following physical and logistical requirements:

  • Sitting/Desk Work:
    • Ability to remain seated at a workstation for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours daily) to perform tasks like typing, reading, and attending virtual meetings.
  • Typing/Computer Use:
    • Frequent and consistent use of a keyboard, mouse, and monitor for data entry, document creation, and online collaboration.
    • Proficiency with standard office software and virtual communication tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack).
  • Visual Requirements:
    • Extended screen time, with a need for clear vision to view text and images on monitors and mobile devices. 
  • Dedicated Workspace:
    • A quiet, distraction-free home office or workspace equipped with a reliable desk, comfortable chair, and sufficient lighting.
    • Secure and private environment to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Technology:
    • Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum upload/download speeds as specified by the company).
    • A company-approved laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and other necessary peripherals.
    • Ability to use the following tools/software/programs: Google Workspace/ GSuite, Monday.com, Mac and MacOS, and other investigative tools
  • Communication & Availability:
    • Ability to participate in virtual meetings and respond to emails, calls, and messages during designated work hours.
    • Consistent adherence to company policies regarding availability and communication.

Where You’ll Work

  • While these positions report to our Alexandria, VA Headquarters office, our Pandion team is distributed nationwide and full remote work opportunities are available.  You must be authorized to work in the United States.
