What Is The Opportunity?

We are a growing collaborative development team split across the US and the UK. We are looking for a mid level full-stack engineer to join our team and help us continue on the mission of building a new OSINT platform to enable our analysts. 

This is a greenfield project that will span across the entire organization and will be central to optimizing how our analysts work. This opportunity is for a full stack engineer to work as a core team member and help inform key technological decisions and implementation.

What Are The Responsibilities? 

We are on the lookout for someone who is proficient in either frontend or backend engineering with experience in the other and a desire to work across the entire stack to help support the full engineering effort.

Who You Are

• Proficient in web application development frameworks such as nodejs , react, Django or flask
• Proficient and experienced in writing applications in either Python, Javascript or Typescript
• Experienced in 3rd party API and service integration
• Experienced in automated testing such as unit and integration testing
• Experienced in REST API development and debugging

Required and Preferred Education and Experience

• Degree in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent work experience
• Proven ability to collaborate well with peers in all parts of the organization
• Proficient with technical documentation creation
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers (and enjoys doing so)
• Significant professional experience in shipping finished products

Work Environment

Nisos offers a hybrid schedule with time in the office and remote. 

Nisos offers a flexible working environment with a focus on getting work done.

Employees will normally work standard business hours, but may have limited but regularly scheduled evening calls with US teammates.

The position requires use of Macbooks and MacOS. We ensure you can work well from home by providing Macbook Pros, monitors, peripherals, and noise-canceling headphones.

Travel

Employees may need to travel to the United States once or twice per year for short periods.
